So if I have accidently or on purpose set the offset to "In Control" or "Wear" then the simulation will still go around the shape as if it was offset so unless the user has noticed that the actual toolpath for the Contour has moved which if there are a number of toolpaths in the job that could easily be missed. I have tried to re-create the issue you have and the only thing I can find is that there is an issue with the simulation in that it will go around the shape with an offset regardless of whether or not an offset has been set so the bug would appear to be in the simulation because when the code is checked it does follow the toolpath with the center of the tool when set to "In Control", when set to "In Computer" in the code it is offset and runs with the side of the tool on the toolpath.
